Samoa Beach is a long, flat stretch of dunes and sand on the southwest side of the Samoa Peninsula. It flanks the historic logging town of Samoa, whose famous cookhouse looks and feels just as it did when it served the lumber industry workforce housed nearby. Samoa Beach is easily accessible, with the water’s edge just a short walk from the parking lot. Surfers flock to Samoa Beach year round for its consistent waves. At the end of the peninsula lies the North Jetty, a popular fishing and strolling destination, as well as the Samoa Drag Strip and the Humboldt Bay Social Club.
