A beloved celebration unique to Humboldt County, the Godwit Days Spring Migration Bird Festival returns April 18-21, 2024. Join naturalists, wildlife enthusiasts, bird watchers and community members as they honor the  Marbled Godwit and the remarkable ecosystems to which it belongs.  The festival includes field trips, lectures, and workshops led by experienced local guides.

Be sure to bring your wings to the 4th Annual Enchanting Fairy Festival! The Arcata Plaza will be transformed into an enchanting gathering place for fairies & friends of all ages on Sunday, June 9th, from noon to 10 pm. There ill be 2 stages with live music, a costume competition, food and craft vendors, libations, performances, a fire show and more. How magical!
